- If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of agreed commencement of stay, 100% of tariff will be forfeited (this includes any outstanding amounts due).
CHANGES TO ACCOMMODATION
While we make every effort to ensure the apartment as booked is available for your stay, we reserve the right to refund your payments or find alternative accommodation for you if for any reason the apartment should not be available due to reasons unforeseen at the time of taking your booking.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the description of rooms and facilities at each property is accurate, on occasion, these may be changed or taken out of service. Booktostayy is not liable for these omissions, changes or errors.
We reserve the right to offer (if available) alternative accommodation, of a similar standard, should these omissions, changes, or errors occur
CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES
Check-in time is after 2 PM, Check out time is before 10 AM. Special arrangements can be made if early check-in or late checkout is available.
A late fee applies to arrivals after 8.00 PM. A cash payment of $30 is to be paid to our representative who will be checking you in.
VALID CREDIT CARD DETAILS FOR SECURITY DEPOSIT
Upon check-in, you will be asked to supply your current photo ID and a valid credit card. $200 will be processed on the card as a security bond.
If for any reason you are unable to supply us with a valid credit card you will be asked to pay $300 cash which we will hold in trust to cover your security bond. If a cash security bond is held you will need to supply us with your BSB, account number and account name where we can direct deposit the money after your stay.
Your security bond will be refunded less any charges incurred directly after the apartment has been inspected by our housekeeping team. Please note the refund might take a day or two to be credited to your account depending on the bank you are with. Please note if there are any costs over the value of $200 required to cover breakages, fees etc, these costs will be debited against the credit card and or you will be required to make payment by other means to our trust account.
(Note – you will not be charged as long the apartment is left undamaged and in a reasonably clean state)
Prior to or at check-in you will be asked to fill in a form and sign acknowledging your acceptance of the Standard Terms & Conditions of Booktostay.
Credit Card details are kept as a security bond, subject to the above conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared etc.
We do make every attempt to contact the guest within 48 hours of departure however if the guest is not contactable we reserve the right to process any payments required to cover loss, damage or extra cleaning as stated in these Terms & Conditions
HOUSE KEEPING RULES
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions:
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Guest Confirmation Booking Form or subsequently agreed to in writing or email.
Fees will apply for guests numbers exceeding those stated on the Guest Confirmation Booking Form.
Booktostay also reserves the right to evict all guests from the property if found exceeding the amount of guests stated on the Guest Confirmation Booking Form.
The apartment is a non- smoking apartment however smoking is permitted on the balcony area only (cigarette butts must be properly extinguished and disposed of in a responsible manner). The building is under video surveillance and throwing objects from the balcony and windows is a criminal offense and strictly prohibited. Persons doing so will be prosecuted under section 320 of the criminal code which has a maximum penalty of 14 years imprisonment. Should items be thrown from balcony or windows all guests will be escorted from the premises immediately without any claim to monies paid for their intended occupancy period.
PERSONAL INJURY AND LOSS
Booktostay or any of their employees, agents or sub-contractors take no responsibility for any injury to guests or friends of guests in the apartment and or common areas of the building at any time during and on their way to their apartment. Personal injury & loss is solely the guests’ responsibility.
THIS IS A STRICT NO PARTY APARTMENT
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly, this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments and or instant eviction. Should the property be used for any other reason than domestic as stated, that the guests stay will be terminated immediately and all money monies paid forfeited.
Disturbance to our neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond. A noise curfew is in place from 10:30PM and we ask guests to abide by this curfew which is monitored by building security.
Damage, Breakages, Theft, and Loss are the guests responsibility during their stay.
The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.
There will be charges or $35 per hour for excess cleaning if property not left in acceptable condition and that a fee of $15 per bag will be charged if rubbish not removed. These charges will be deducted from your security bond.
Pets are not allowed.
In the event of natural or manmade disasters including war and terrorism events within the building where the apartment is located that impact or prevent bookings being honored, Booktostay takes no responsibility for the loss of days paid for or any other costs relating to any of the aforementioned events.
You agree to indemnify Booktostay or any of their employees, agents or sub-contractors against any demand, liability, damage, fines, loss or expense of any kind arising from but not limited to:
- Your breach of STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKTOSTAY
- The availability or quality of the services.
- An error or misrepresentation of information provided
- Loss of, damage to or theft of property, loss of life, injury or loss of employment in connection with renting the apartment.
Note – We do not provide safes in all rooms
We guarantee that we will not disclose your personal information to any third-party companies without your prior consent. By booking with us you consent that we may use your details to contact you regarding special promotions and great deals. We will also give you the option to opt-out of these services should you wish not to receive this information from us.
FIRE, SAFETY AND HEALTH
For your safety every apartment has fire alarms installed. These alarms are both heat and smoke sensitive. With regards to food preparation take extra care not to burn the meals as this can set of the alarms. When alarms are activated it automatically sets of an alarm to the Fire Department. This could result in, and you will be liable for, a Fire brigade call out fee (currently AU$1,000). This does not include the setting off of the standard smoke alarms installed in the apartments.
There is emergency evacuation signage located on every floor next to the lifts and on the back of the apartment doors. It is your responsibility to understand these evacuation guides, so please take the time to read through these on arrival.
Information regarding emergencies / ambulance / doctor / is located in the guest compendium. Not all apartments have phone services connected, in the event of persons staying without a mobile phone service it is your responsibility to request an emergency mobile phone on check in, this mobile phone will be activated to call emergency numbers only and must be left with the keys on departure.
We do not take any liability or offer refunds or compensation if any health issues arise during your stay. We take every precaution in our methods of cleaning the apartments to keep them at a healthy and clean state.
This apartment is privately owned and operated and has no affiliation with the On-Site management. Any questions or queries should be made directly to Booktostay and not Reception. You can contact Booktostay on 1300 690 100.
SETS OF KEYS AND THE CAR PARKING PERMIT
As given to you on check-in are to be left on the dining table upon departure of premises unless otherwise arranged.
Failure to do so will incur loss of keys fee which attracts a $120 charge per set of 2 and a $30 fee for the Car Park Permit (if applicable). These charges if applicable will be deducted from your security bond.
We will provide you with a nominated car space on arrival. Please note that if someone is parked in your space you are to contact Booktostay immediately so that we can inform management of the misuse of our car space. We will then allocate you another spot while we rectify this for you. We do not accept any liability or costs if you choose to park in a space not allocated by Booktostay.
We reserve to right to terminate your tenancy with no monies returned if any of the above STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKTOSTAY are not met. We recommend you consider travel insurance to cover against your obligations under this agreement.
